Description
This is Bastian, a head I sculpted and cast that fits on the Dollshe Hound body. He's an elf head, and I am enamored with him and how he turned out. I finally got some proper sealer, so he'll be nicely finished now. <3Related content

Yes, but you're obviously quite picky as well. *I* thought the head on your 'what to do with fabric samples' (did I get that entirely correct?) was just gorgeous, and you thought the eyes were too close together, so if *I* begged you for a doll, I'd be willing to take that one

Aww~ thanks! He needs a lot of work yet... and some arms. X3 I'm having trouble making his limbs hollow for stringing without the core sticking out like a broken bone. ._.;; Hopefully soon! @D@;;;

Oh sculpting isn't the issue. I'm quite good at sculpting. Well, I lied at little. I have trouble getting the doll porportions right. I have like a million bust portraits but no full out figures.
Any suggestions? n_n;

I used a book called 2000 years of Sculpture as my reference for sculpting the body. I hollowed it out with the melonballer looking tool like Lithefinder has on her instructions on DOA. I've made four other super sculpey dolls, but I didn't cast them or take them to the level of completeness that the Nephilim is at. But it helped me get a sense of how to do it, trial and error and all that. I guess the only advice i can give, is just do it and don't be afraid to screw up. :3

Heheheh... I don't know if I'm qualified to teach! XD I can recommend this book: [link] for teaching how to sculpt in super sculpey, I learned from her books. :3
