Omg. been working on this for far far too long... like since before christmas. :/ My attention span has been shot all to hell.

This is what happens when you leave your sister's toys in with yours, guys. XD

Stormer seems like she'd get along well with Jazz. She was always one of my favorite characters. She had lousy friends and no spine, but she was a really sweet person... she deserves better than the misfits. XD

Autobot Jazz belongs to hasbro/takara
Stormer belongs to Hasbro I assume she still does anyway.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

batchix In reply to Cascade-Kirby [2008-01-10 05:51:35 +0000 UTC]

Well technically it's plugged into the vent on the side of his helmet... X3 Stormer is one of the Misfits from the cartoon Jem. Jem, GI Joe and Transformers all played together in a segment when I was a kid. They were all produced for hasbro and a lot of the voice actors worked all three shows. :3

Cascade-Kirby In reply to batchix [2008-01-10 06:03:00 +0000 UTC]

Huh.
I've never even heard of that one before.

*searches wikipedia* Hmm...Knowing myself, I probably wouldn't have watched it. XD I was usually off watching Dragonball Z and Pokemon with the boys when the girls were watching...whatever girly shows were on. XP
I did watch Powerpuff Girls though. >>...

*reads article*
"The show was an inspiration for the hit show Hannah Montana."
...*shoots Wikipedia with fusion cannon*

batchix In reply to Cascade-Kirby [2008-01-10 06:57:29 +0000 UTC]

Jem was definately NOT hannah montana. When has hannah montana ever been dangled over a lion pit or been helped by a holagraph of her deceased mother? XD

I don't think Jem translates well now. It debuted at the height of the music video and a BIG part of the show was music videos and really crazy fashion. I think a LOT of my fashion taste today, including the stuff I make, was influenced by Jem. X3 As a kid I was a girly tom boy. I hated sports, still do, but I was out skinning my knees and pretending I was a ninja. XD;; I had an older brother, so I got an equal dose of boy stuff and girl stuff. I kept stealing Drew's transformers and he'd give me the GI Joes he didn't like. XD;;

Cascade-Kirby In reply to batchix [2008-01-10 07:36:30 +0000 UTC]

I don't know, but apparently her show broke my television in my cousin's dream.
*pokes ~Kit2Kit *
The chicken guy from Fruits Basket was a barber. A time-travelling barber. In my house with the broken television.

I hated sports too, but I loved computers.
Actually, that's probably the reason I liked computers. I spent (almost) every recess in the computer lab.
No one ever wanted to play tag with the girl who couldn't run.

My friend ALWAYS had the new toys from each television show we watched together. And we collected Pokemon cards. Great times.
I always loved playing with his Magnamon. We'd have little battles with digimon figures. I'd keep switching whch side I was fighting on. XD

batchix In reply to Cascade-Kirby [2008-01-10 08:36:01 +0000 UTC]

THis will show my age but... we didn't have a computer till I was in 6th grade and we borrowed an Apple IIE. XD;;

and I was the one doling out the pokemon addiction. XD I used to work for a Wizards of the Coast store in Schaumburg, IL. We had pokemon out the demon hole. I always thought the cards were not much fun(they actually gave us rares for christmas bonus! wth!?) but the toys were so awesome. I collected no end of ones that got left in the store or broken... my niece and nephews adopted them later when I had a garage sale. My niece has my favorite. It's a squishy squirtle that the arm fell off of. Someone at the store cut his arm into patties like hamburger, gave him a chef-type mustache and a chef hat. Then made a display of "Squirtle burgers" in the back of the store. I kept the stupid thing and years later Heather decided she liked it and took it home. XD;;

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Cascade-Kirby In reply to batchix [2008-01-10 08:52:44 +0000 UTC]

*laughter*
Squirtle burgers? H'okays.

My friend had the pokemon figurines too.
I never got int the cards. I love my holographic vaporeon like it was my own though. Until I lost it. XD
I lost everything then. Actually, I still do. O_o

My friend used to record that show every day. We used to buy like...packs of cards together and then we'd open them and trade. (I didn't know the worth of anything, so it was like..."Hey, that looks cool. Can I has?")

Honestly, I suck at trading card games. Really bad.

Ohh yeah. In middle school, Yu-gi-oh was all the rage.
Now everyone (who's still into card games wtf) plays Magic.

I actually have a group of friends that play Mech Warrior though. The figurines, not the cards. The cards never got popular.

(I'm up way later than I should be. XD And on a SCHOOL NIGHT. I've gone insane!
But I was doing homework. -_- )

One of my friends apparently made a 'There is no _____, there is only ZUL!' reference a few months ago and nobody in the room got it. It made him feel very old. Admittedly, he is getting there, he's actually a good ten years older than me, but still, I would think somebody would have to be born in the 90s or later not to get that... I'm terrified that there are going to be high school graduates this year that never even existed in the 80s...
