Description ok this is exactly the same render, posted before as cold mesh [link] , but with a warmer colour scheme. In fact this was the first one.
The good thing about M3D is you can store different colour variations with the same render.
The bad thing about it that you have to render again the post effects, like reflections and/or DOF, like this (4 hrs again)

wonderful work...

you know, you can also save a set of colors as a color preset to use on other renders? the little disk thing at the bottom of the lighting window allows you to save the current colors/lights/shadows... I save a lot of nice color sets to use later...

yes. have a ton of this presets. I already used one of these . it is interesting when you make yourself a colour scheme with Illustrator for example, and later you copy the values on M3D. It's right, you save a lot of time, but sometimes another render looks horrible with the preset before

that's true, which is why you want to have lots and lots of them... I sometimes even save the colors form other people's works that I tweak... good way to get some really beautiful colors
