If this card is in the GY (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 Rock “Gem-Knight” monster from your GY; Special Summon this card, and if you do, all face-up monsters your opponent currently controls lose 2450 ATK. You can only Special Summon “Gem-Knight Absorbing Morionette(s)” once per turn.

- Absorbing: A reference to "Absorb Fusion ", the beginning of "Gem-Knight Crystal 's" corruption.
- Morion : The German synonym for smoky quartz, which "Cairngorgon " is also named after.
- Marionette: A reference to "Shaddolls", which is related to the final step of "Crystal 's" corruption -> "El Shaddoll Grysta ".
- This card is the opposite counterpart of "Gem-Knight Phantom Quartz ":
- "Phantom Quartz" has 1000 less ATK than "Crystal", while this card has 1000 more.
- "Phantom Quartz" possess some pairs of "Zefra " wings, while this card contains the fiery spirit of "Helshaddoll Hollow ", which is related to the "Infernoid " archetype.
