Kiina had always wanted to see another world, but her dream was accomplished in a way she did not expect; It was not too long ago that where she now finds herself was once barren desert, much like the rest of her world, a world once known as Bara Magna. It was thanks to this stranger, who called himself Mata Nui, that Bara Magna was restored to its former self, once again becoming Spherus Magna. But was it worth it?

Kiina shook her head; that thought was too selfish. True, she could no longer be with Mata Nui, but the Glatorian knew he wouldn't want her to be so unhappy. Letting a feeble half-smile creep up on her face, she gently brushed her thumb against the mask.

"Thank you," she said at last, "For everything you have done for us. We won't forget you. I know I won't." The Glatorian then decided to return to her Thornatus and resume her exploration of this brave, new world...

A bit of a holiday gift for 's Wishlist. I had this idea while setting up an alternate screenshot, and decided to go with this instead.

The concept here also made me recall the bittersweet ending of Samurai Jack.
