Oh don't worry- I'm not one of those deviantartists who will declare war on someone who corrects a misheard song lyric(Trust me, I've had a LOT of trouble with those types lately... ahem... *points to a certain SOMEONE he's had trouble with...* ). I just like to give due to the good shows.

Yeah, I would probly say that I am just about the biggest Underdog fan in the world!
He was my childhood hero, and he still means as much to me as he did then.
He is kind of a symble of innocence for me.
A reminder of a simpler, happier time.

T_T... that preview kind of makes me queezy- I'm not a fan of making cartoons into live action movies; Rocky and Bullwinkle was OK, according to my mom, but I HATED the live action George of the Jungle movie(I though George was the best thing Jay Ward did.) for a lot of reason:
1) They changed the themesong: It's "Away he'll step on his elephant Shep", not "His elephant Shep can catch a log."
2) No District Commissioner, or any of the original villians: No Dr. Chicago, Tiger and Weevil, or even Leon and the "Simple Country Witchdoctor".
3) Too much toilet humor.
4) One of the main hidden jokes I always loved was messed up: the joke of Georges hair- he lived in the jungle, crashed into trees, was always beaten up and tossed around and stuff, and yet his hair always looked picture perfect... HIS HAIR WAS INVICABLE!!!! I always thought it was homage to those movies where reguardless of the situations, the heros/heroines always had hair that looked like they came out of a beauty parlor.
5) George didn't really ever seem to care about Ursala. I mean, he was married to her and all, but I figured it was her idea and it happened when George wasn't paying attention. Usually, George needed Ape to remind him that "That long haired guy who never shaves" was supposedly the most important thing in his life, and he always just saved her in the process of saving some kind of knicknack.
As for the underdog movie, the fact that he's a real dog makes me wonder about Shoeshine Boy- or Sweet Polly Purebread.

Well, seeing as Shoeshine is the Clark Kent to Underdog's Superman, and Sweet Polly is his Lois Lane, they'd have to do something.

I've heard of that... -_-... In my personal opinion, there is a REASON why these guys were so loved and why they were animated. It's cause at the time animation was the only way to convey these actions and stories. Now we have computer graphics and other tricks to do these things in live action, but we seem more concerened with "Revamping" the classics rather then doing anything new with them... As a result, it kind of ruins the way we were...

(Is recalling other times cartoons were senslessly butchered to make it seem as if political incorrectness never existed...)

I mean, sure it was racist towards Native Americans, but they were the heros... And the cournal and sargent were funny to watch them get their asses kicked by the most obvious of traps.

i love that toon, and i would draw them if i didnt get into trouble myself, those gophers....they rock, they are getting a dvd next year though^^ as for the show , i havent seen them in it so far

I mostly did this fanart cause I FINALLY saw the finalie of an eposode called the Phoney Booths(Where Simon was replacing phone booths with fake booths that turned whoever went into one into Simon's zombified slave... I saw it up to the point where Underdog got tricked into one, and was left in suspense until I found it on video.)

ahh yes...the one episode I never saw til around the time we got a dvd player in the house was the Zot episode. I love the king of Zot. He is quite funny.
