Well, do you?I'm a bisexual girl, and recently came out officially to my mom and to my friends.
No, it wasn't some sad story where my mother kicked me out of the house and where my friends turned away from me in disgust. Actually, everyone I told either said "Good for you!" or "I kinda figured that out myself."
My mom just looked at me for a while and then smiled and said "Honey.. I'm not even gonna act shocked."
The only person I was a bit hesitant to tell was my best friend. She's always been kinda uncomftorable with that kind of thing, and I was quite scared things were gonna change between us. But I underestimated her. She was quiet for a while but then she said to me: "Why were you scared of telling me that? Did you really think I would think less of you? I love you and I always will. You're my best friend and I don't care who you love as long as you don't change."
Pretty much everyone knows and I couldn't care less what people think of me as long as I have my closest friends and my mother on my side.
I hope you can find pride within yourself as I have.

It's so easy to see the difference between America and Sweden.. At my school, or most(not ALL) schools in Sweden actually, nobody would give a shit. I'm pretty sure there is a LGBT club on my school actually..

Yes, I've encountered a few that have teased me pretty badly. But I'm not the kind of person to get upset. I just shrug it off and smile for myself when I think about how pathetic their lives must be if they spend their time teasing others.
