Description
This is a picture made for our Museum (ZMMU). Siberia, Yakutia, Allaikha river, 24.000 years ago.Years ago I already wrote about woolly mammoth in our exibition , which was injured being young, probably in a fight with an old male. Now I am going to make an information stand about it.

When it comes to Prehistoric Awesomeness you really can't go far wrong with a Mammoth - still, one feels terribly sorry for poor junior here (who seems to have picked the wrong rival upon whom to sharpen its fighting skills).

Well, actually it got a fracture across left side of facial bones (including alveolus of the left tusk). And lived more than 20 years after that, growing to 3.2 meters in shoulder height.
