A small sketch on a not serious topic... There is such a Russian children's song - about two merry geese, one gray and another one white. Actually, in the song they lived with a granny. Well, let's assume that this is her granddaughter.Gastornis now is treated related to geese.

you could argue raising gastornis promotes sociability, as when you kill and eat one of them you have to invite all your neighbors
