Hellboy is awesome. and here is my process. The sketch is based on a maquette I saw on line which is in the animated style. The sketch was paper and pencil. then the line art is Sketchbook pro, and the colors in Photoshop.I tried like hell to render it with the same effect as this link

This guy's hellboy is incredible. The drawing is awesome, and the colors are even better!
I didn't quite get the same effect. I have no idea how he did the background.
