But who doesn't love a princess who says what she wants, especially in a series where much isn't said at all ΒI love BoTW Zelda for the fact she is a bit flawed and vulnerable, and has a lot of personality. She can be a bit eccentric, but hardworking and always trying to push the boundaries of her knowledge, especially with her scientific endeavors. Visiting her little lab was such a cool insight into her character, and was such an awesome touch.
To see her break away from that stereotypical image of a princess and see her finally be by Link's side, with a cool new haircut in the BOTW 2 teaser made me so happy and I can't wait to see what's in store

You play Zelda?! hHHGNGNGN How come I have never known this!? But yes I need co-op with Zelda, my only concern is that the trailer seems to showcase an incident in which Zelda and Link separate. So I'm hoping that doesn't become the driving point for the game, having to find and rescue Zelda..

I think BTOW Zelda is alright, but Zelda's regality and near-aloofness in Twilight Princess is what floats my goat.Β Admittedly, the chemistry between Link and Zelda in BOTW strikes me as the most believable (Skyward Sword comes in second).

It's why I happily embrace the voice acting, it's nice to give life to the game and have someone actually talk
Also Twilight Princess Zelda was my first, so I definitely have a sort of bias towards her character and design. She's a lot more refined and poised and almost has a more Queen-like quality to her?
ALSO YES, I love that those games gave us depth to their relationships, they ARE kinda soulmates in a way. Locked in an endless fate.

Honestly though, as much as I'm looking forward to a new adventure in BotW2, I also kind of want to see Zelda rebuild Hyrule from the ground up.Β I might have watched too much Dr. Stone though, so perhaps I like the idea of starting civilization from scratch.
Those are beautiful lilies by the way, it's a shame I'm terribly allergic to those flowers.

YEAH
It would be awesome to see how Zelda and Link adapt to life post ganon's defeat. I really want to see how Zelda finds her feet once more, trying to adjust to a new world and find a way to restore a Kingdom that once was. A new generation of champions to help guide her..Β
