Hi, from ProjectComment here!
Honestly this is amazing, i love the linework, the composition, and the creativity behind it!
The simplicity in the color is such a great contrast to the complexity of the idea. what i love is that it can be interpreted as two things, 1) the person is overrun by the voices in their head that they lose their own, or 2) all this craziness is something that they are trying to hid from everyone else. Im sure theres a billion more ways to interpret this but still, i love it.
The poses and anatomy are very good too. except the one on the far right looks slightly uncomfortable in that pose but NEVERTHELESS it still works because of how it looks together with the rest of the poses.
although i think you could fix the eyes better? specifically of the person. i think it looks too low and/or far apart. i made the initial mistake of thinking it was just anime eyes without a pupil and the eyes were actually open haha (the eyebrows were the eyelashes and the eyelashes was the lower lash line). but that was only for a very brief moment i still understood it after that.
I also love the decision to use that paper texture! it really adds to the image.
overall, this piece is amazing in both line art and composition, and it really has a message and an impact 9.9/10 Β Β Β

First of all, I LOVE hearing people's interpretations of my work, so thank you so much for letting me know yours. And actually, both of your interpretations aren't wrong, so well done, you.
Second, yeeeah. That one pose does look uncomfortable, now that you pointed it out. And also, yikes. I didn't think that the eyes were like that but I totally see that now, though I guess that can be because I purposefully didn't include a nose. My bad
Also, thank you for appreciating the paper. I was a bit anxious about it first, but it was the most fitting one I could find. <3
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. This was really helpful. <3 <3

Awesome! I like the technique of using flat colors to focus on the concept more than on the details
she seems to be a quiet and shy girl that hides what she had to suffer, although I don't really understand the meaning of the people painted in red. Are they maybe their emotions? Anxiety, sadness, anger...
Anyway, the lineart is very cool, adding details on the important parts. Good job!

This is all around a great piece of artwork! I have never really seen the movie "Split" but this kinda makes me wanna see it. Just the way drew all the different personalities look really cool! I guess the only thing that bothers me is (and this is merely a nitpick) that it looks kinda bland. I suggest more shading and probably some more stand out colors to make it feel like it's jumping off the screen. Other than that this looks great!Β Β Β

This piece is very reminiscent of a t-shirt I once saw that had a similar concept (idea not art style). I like the contrast of colors as you show how your subject, colored in black, is oblivious to the negative voices of the world, colored in red. The fact that he/she is wearing a pair of headphones adds a subtle clue as to how they are able to breakaway from the world while still maintaining a presence in it.

It's often the little details that add most to the overall finish

Wow, this is neat. With the center personality looking like a puppet master, and one of them looking like it's flat out trying to escape, and the main body just quietly walking along, no one any the wiser to the internal cacophony.Β

Ohmygosh. I'm now slightly regretting not knowing the word "cacophony" until today. Thank you so much <3

You're welcome? It's a good word, but I'm not sure knowing it is worth the price, for most people.
