And yes... Firion wants to fill the world with wild roses...I laughed my ass off hearing this during playing the US version of Dissidia (because previously when playing the Jap ver, I didn't understand at all...). And the reaction of the rest are like, "Ok, it's cool to have a dream, I don't care if it sounds so gay or something..."

I never play FFII, so I don't know the actual meaning of the wild roses for him [though later some people have told me about it]. This is merely my first impressions of the dialogue between Firion and Cloud, and I made a parody from it. No offense or whatsoever. ^^

The idea is that war destroys everything around it, flowers included. In a peaceful world without war, flowers like the wild rose can bloom freely. The wild rose symbolizes peace.

The wild roses were the symbol of rebellion against The Emperor's tyrrany. I think what he meant is a world free of tyrants like The Emperor.

Hmmm... well it's understandable. Even if you play the game, there was no real side stories to the plot. It's up to personal interpretation, but I think the reason why Firion wanted a work filled with roses was because he grew up with war and lost his whole family when he was young. He had known or seen nothing but war... So for him, his symbol of peace was a wild rose. Not only that, but the wild rose was the symbol of the rebellion against the tyranny of the empire that had taken away so many peoples dreams.
Sorry.. Again there is still many things left unsaid in the actual game itself.

Ah, ok. So you know the Wild Rose refers to the password to gain access to important stuff in the game, as well as the symbol of the rebellion against the Emperor (and maybe his homeland, I think. Haven't played FFII in ages).
Fun fact about Firion=Virgin: In FFII, Firion nearly gets pulled into a trap and is killed when this creature called the Lamia disguises herself as the female head of the rebellion (I think she's the Lady of Flynn or something - also a kind, sweet, attractive character), and as the Lady, she attempts to seduce Firion. It's downright HILARIOUS. XDD. Firion's got this deer-in-headlights attitude and he's got dialogue that's all, "but my Lady!" and "oh, my Lady!" The Lamia (as this woman, mind you), is all, "Come on Firion, I don't like being teased...")
It's the best thing ever. XDD And then in Dissidia, (013), when you're playing through Firion's story, he obtains a Shiva summon. Shiva proceeds to act all seductive towards Firion, using the classic line ("Come on Firion, I don't like being teased..."). This happens again in 012 in Kain's playthrough when he's got Firion as an assist. You're in one of the gates with the two of them, and Shiva proceeds to act all seductive towards the BOTH of them, and they're both all. "Uhhhhhh...." and she uses the line, "Come on, I don't like being teased." to the both of them XDD.

in ff2, the term "wild rose" is the first term you memorize, as it is the password for the rebel bases and saying to to some people will get you amazing stuff. anyway, its important to firion because he wanted to join the rebels to take revenge on the empire for slaughtering his village.

This goes well with Firion's battle entry quotes if he's going against certain people xD To Squall he says, "LET MEH HEAR YOU ROAR" and to Sephiroth, You make me shiver ... well after that he adds "What are you?!" but all the same it's hilarious xD
That being said it sounds like Firion isn't as straight as we thought xD even though "wild rose" is a reference to his hometown and such and such. This is moar fun! Love his expression in the last panel, too bwhahaha
