I would lie if I said all your pestering and nagging to finally press out some new art didn't feel good. So thank you guys :3And I would also lie if I said that crazily being hooked on Mass Effect didn't encourage me big time - funny enough - to up my physical fitness!
ME got criticism for presenting ideal looking women and men being the overwhelming average in the future and these critics missed so bad some thin or fat dudes and ladies from the game. Well, they had a point...
...but I was like: hey, if such a future would come, where would I belong? Then it clicked that I wouldn't need to wait and see when nothing stops me from achieving that idealistic state NOW.
So, side-note aside, who said a girl can't be strong, right? Especially when it is part of her job! Of course Zaalia hangs out in the gym to stay in shape no matter what planet! And why is the piercing look? Well, someone lightyears ahead of me said she was always glaring down at a nail or something to keep out distractions. So yep, no worries, it's just Zaal focussing - on a fly in the corner or wut!

Basically repeating the things that always apply to your work about light and details. Though with this one it's the subject that makes this piece stand out from the prior works.

Really there is always a certain challenge in all of my pics that the pic is really about - on a technical side of course. Here I wondered how to fill all the green flat surface of the floor. And I think it turned out pretty damn good, so I patted myself on the shoulder once all was done
But yeah, of course all the other aspects were important in the end, even if less challenging. And OF COURSE getting the subject right is always paramount. This was no different when getting Zaal's stare right. Cuz she stares right, right?

I literally just got done helping stack hay bales and I can't fathom why people lift weights for fun.
On a completely different note, that look is downright terrifying. It looks like she's about to wreck someone once she's put those weights down.
And yeah, just awesome work. It almost looks like a still from a cartoon.

Honestly, it's like Zaalia is staring accusingly at the viewer demanding to know why they can't get out and get fit. And you know what? She's inspired me... More bike rides, runs and crunches. I wanna get fit again so I can run the London marathon again. Or, you know, just up the road and back would be nice...
That is a seriously intense expression. Zaalia's giving me chills! And I'm loving it!
And for some reason 'Eye of the Tiger' is all I can think of.

Ahhahha xD if I dread one thing that is running. Each time I made it to the bus just in time, I fought for my life for minutes to catch my breath. However, ... lately I noticably have less of that experience. (Or I just leave for the busstop earlier? ... Naaaah!)

Off for a group 26 mile bike ride today - with a brief stop at the pub for a wee drinkie, of course! Not that I encourage drinking during the day, you understand. But, you know, its a pub, its what we do. That and tea!
Sounds like you're getting better at chasing after the bus, Bayz. It must be doing you good. And the 'Train with Zaalia' series sounds like a great idea. She should team-up with Valni and the two of them would whip anyone into shape in no time!

You can guarantee that anyone who attends that gym would get really fit! Zaal and Val would demand nothing less.
And, as a Brit who pretty much lives up the stereotype, I can appreciate the need for shots of spirits and twirling moustaches. Although that description could apply to anything from the old Mexican stereotypes, to Viking warriors, or even to hard-drinking policemen from the 1970's!
Dammit, now I've got the image of Viking/Mexican policemen with impressive facial hair in my head!
