Well, not to forget the last flag from the ending of Hearth's Warming Eve.Here's the Equestria faction. And well, it's hard to make it consistent when the flag is centered but the alicorns and stars are out of place, so they're not very symmetrical, consider it as asymmetrical.

"Contrary to popular belief, the flag with the Alicorn Sun-Moon-and-Stars motif is not the Equestrian flag as originally conceived in Equestria's founding during the Early Classical Era - as the original flag had been lost, that Alicorn flag served merely a stand-in in historical/media reproductions of the Founding Era.
Archaeological reconstruction suggests the original flag represented the newly found unity of the Three Tribes rather than their devotion to celestial bodies or a higher power such as the Alicorns (who then had not appeared). The flag consists of an elongated Unicorn horn standing vertically at the center, surrounded by a horse-shoe symbol representing the Earthponies, and flanked by two feathery wings which represented the Pegasi. While the colors of the insigna is yet to be known, it had been determined with certainty that the combo is set against a green background that represents the emerald green land that became Equestria..."

But it does make you wonder. This was supposed to be before the rule of the two princesses. So why would they already have them on the flag?
