Marvin is a high class, very fancy, and very egotistical inkling in Inkopolis. He is a very wealthy inkling who’s father owns half of Inkopolis. After his fathers passing, Marvin plans to own all of Inkopolis, the only things that are in his way are Callie and Marie as well as Pearl, Marina, and Captain Cuttlefish who wants Inkopolis to be free from his fathers clutches. He obviously doesn’t take their requests too kindly and still plans to own Inkopolis in various ideas and methods. He will go to great lengths to own Inkopolis even at one point working with DJ Octavio and sabotaging the splat fests by leaving some deadly explosives in the battle grounds.
