"I am the Great Light," the girl looked down at her feet, small fingers worrying the material of her dress.
“Are you... alone?” Den took a step forward, dropping her friend's hand. The question hung silently in the air, a physical burden on them all. They leaned forward in anticipation of her answer, but the sorrowful look in the girl's charcoal eyes when she looked up made Den want to both mourn for her and run far away screaming. She seemed the only one in the group to see how profoundly sad the girl was.

This is my OC, Kara, who really hasn't gotten much of my attention lately. But she's a very interesting character.

The quote is an excerpt from a book I'm writing.

I haven't colored a picture with straight up graphite in a while, (and I guess technically I still haven't), and when I finished I decided to put a bit of colored pencil overlayed on top. I like how it turned out though, I think the texture is pretty cool.

(And just a note, I didn't just like, decide not to finish coloring or anything like that, if you were curious. All the whites and pale colors in this is actually how my OC looks. Just to clear up any confusion.)
