This is 's picture of her and 's OCs Blaire and Prosper. (though I don't really think they need any introduction.
)I wanted to color something, but none of my pictures were turning out well.
So I decided to color a beautiful picture from burdge-bug instead!

This reminds me of an old Smallville episode from the first season, Where Clarks (Later) girlfriend just wants to scream, So he tells her, 'Why not?', And they go to the foot ball feel, And scream/yell.

Personally, I don't see the big deal with burdge-bug. She only ever submits half-assed five minute sketches, and then ends up getting a thousand faves on them. But I LOVE the way you colored this. The rain looks just right, and the shading is awesome.

That seems a little harsh. You might be trying to be constructive, but why did you come on to a group called "we love burdge-bug" and start slamming her drawings?

I didn't come on a group called "i love burdge-bug". I came to an individual deviant's page (a deviant whom I admire by the way) and commented. This piece merely happens to have been submitted to the group.

You say that you admire her, but you're not really showing it when you say stuff like that. To me it doesn't look like you admire her. Feel free to prove me wrong. But all of your comments on this page seem to be kind of... mean.
On a similar note, about her putting up a lot of sketches: I like her sketches, because it seems to make her look more like a real person. When you can't see any roughness you feel like the artist in question is above you. I think that her sketches show that she makes mistakes, and is still learning skills.

I admire her in that she has raw talent. And while my language may be crude (I use dammit as a verb, noun, and adjective XD ) I actually am being quite reasonable. I just feel like you all are telling me the same things and I'm sick of typing the same responses, so yes I am getting a little frustrated.
I love sketches for all the reasons you do. But it's also fun to see an amazing finished piece and wonder how they did it. I just like a healthy balance of these things.

Just had to interject - Burdge is my favorite artist, and she has greatly influenced my style. She's very talented and I love to see her sketches- because each one is beautiful. I know personal opinions vary, but for me, I'd rather see a "half-*****" sketch from her every day than wait weeks for new art! She's a busy person, and it's probably hard to find time to really sit down and focus on art. Her sketches show emotion, depth, and talent.
