I guess it's going to be one of those days where I pretend to know how to digitally paint properly.
Oh well. I'm still pretty happy with it.

Kayso, the lighting and the choice of colors is very nice. I also enjoyed the line work for this piece a lot, but I do feel that your digital painting skills could be sharpened a bit.
Most noticeably, you need to work on blending and brush strokes a lot more. The best place I can point out an example of this problem is the hand with the visible palm where you can see the blending is uneven, giving it a strange and unbelievable texture.
The edges tend to be a little wobbly, like on the right shoulder, where you should have sharpened it up more.
Also, the face is slightly askew and out of proportion, the head should be smaller at the top since the camera angle is lower and she's looking upward.
While the colors and lighting are a fantastic start, instead of multiplying your layers you should try using the LAB sliders to pick some variations of color because it causes some less-appealing tones to appear. Most notably the skin, which ends up looking muddied and unnatural.
I think the best parts of this is where the hair spills on her shoulders, and the water ball between her palms.
Great job with the dramatic composition.

me personally i'd like to see the costume color changed because the sphere in her hands blends too much into her costume. I also find it interesting that the sphere is glowing and yet I see no light source eminating from within it or from outside of it she is also clearly is looking at something; why is there no reflection of what she is looking at in her eyes? why is her left hand clearly Unproportionate to her right hand?

I loved this picture. The textures of the paints blend perfectly and the shading is absolutely beautiful. I also love what you did with her eyes and also how you made her have a nice frame for her arms and fingers instead of just doing straight lines. You managed to almost bring Korra to life from all the details, highlights and shadings you did on her. I really like how her right hand is larger than the left it makes it look more 3-D ish. And the background isn't just one straight color, it goes from light blue to dark and it is darker than the Korra so it really makes her pop out.
I love this style very much and I hope you draw like this again. ;3 (Also don't expect very many critiques from me, it took a while for me to do this)
