The creators said that Mako reminded them of Zuko just without the angst! XD So, I can imagine that Mako is a reasonably smiley guy, in comparison to Zuko (whom everyone seems to be comparing him to, just like everyone is comparing Bolin to Sokka and Korra to Katarra). I would like to see Mako being a serious yet lighthearted character, I've had enough of angsty-brooding fire bending hotties... I just want a firebender hottie who knows how to SMILE! x
