This will probably end up being my new avatar.... (haha get it? Avatar.....)I'm on a serious Avatar kick right now, you guys.
So I thought I should draw the bad ass chick from whom I got my username.
This one took the better part of the afternoon....
And I still need to finish Tokka week. But I like drawing Toph kicking ass more than when she's all girlie and what not.

I'm just here to critique this piece of work so it can be submitted into
's critique folder!
Visual: I love the smooth coloring a ton! It makes this picture nice to look at, the the lighting and black background help and make sure it is focused on her. : ) But gosh, I can't tell you how much I love your coloring skills. I especially like her hair and the bottom part of her dress, the way it's colored. However, there are a few anatomy errors here. Her neck seems a bit short, or if the reason why it seems short is because it's bent or something, it looks a bit odd. Also the left hand, the fingers are too straight to hand a bend at just at joints at the tip of your fingers. in order to bend that joint, you have to bend the middle joint in your wings, so her fingers should be less straight there. And the last thing is, her arms look a little odd. The one on the left, it seems that by the bend in her arm pointing so much to the right, that her shoulder would need to me more the right, I think it's just the the upper line of the "L" (the elbow) should go left more. It's only that small little area at the joint, you can't really tell.
technique: I love the action pose, and your coloring techniques as I have already said!
creativity:I find your style interesting and quite creative, it gives anime characters more depth. : )
overall: Overall it looks quite! With only a few anatomy error here and there. The coloring makes up for everything. xD /shotdead

Badass Toph is badass. Your coloring skills are mind blowing. When you do pictures like these, do you start off with a pencil sketch or what?
