Description
Geralt of Rivia was no stranger to being suddenly transported to different worlds. It seemed like his destiny to constantly be pulled through extradimensional wormholes, never knowing where they would take him next. And this time, as the light faded and revealed a new landscape, Geralt wasn't surprised to find himself in yet another modern universe.
Disoriented at first though, he looked around and saw tall buildings, paved roads, and strange vehicles zooming by, and also the only people he saw, who were in the distance all seemingly in a hurry for something. But what caught his attention the most was a man walking almost towards him. He wore regular modern clothing, except for some details on his weapons and a unique helmet covering his head. Geralt approached the man, curious about this new world he found himself in.
'Hello,' Geralt greeted him, 'I'm Geralt of Rivia.'
The man simply nodded and introduced himself as the Helmet Guy. Geralt couldn't help but notice the seriousness in his voice.
'Where are we?' Geralt asked, taking in his surroundings.
'This is the PUBG world,' Helmet Guy replied, 'A place where survival is the only goal. You must be new here.'
Geralt raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the man's words. Helmet Guy explained that the PUBG world was like a constant battle royale, where people fought to remain the last alive. It was a large-scale deathmatch, and the only way to survive was to be the last one standing.
Geralt found the idea insane. This was a far cry from the monster-slaying and sorcery he was used to. But Helmet Guy's words rang true, as Geralt observed some isolated chaos and destruction around them. People were fighting in the distance with weapons he had never seen before, and there was a sense of desperation in the air.
Helmet Guy then offered an invitation for Geralt to fight with him. He explained that forming a small team could increase their chances of winning. Geralt hesitated, unsure if he wanted to get involved in this strange world. But a part of him was curious and wanted to test his skills against modern weaponry, and also he wasn't sure if there even was a escape by avoiding combat.
And so, Geralt and Helmet Guy joined forces, battling against other players in the PUBG world. They were constantly on the move, using every strategy they knew to survive. Geralt found himself struggling with the modern weapons, but Helmet Guy's guidance proved to be invaluable.
As the battle raged on, Geralt and Helmet Guy found themselves outnumbered and on the brink of defeat. But they refused to give up, fighting until they were the last ones standing. As they emerged victorious, a portal suddenly appeared before them.
Geralt glanced at Helmet Guy, wondering if he would join him in leaving this world. But the man shook his head, a somber look in his body language.
'I cannot leave,' he said, 'This is my penitence.'
Before Geralt could ask for an explanation, the portal transported him away. As he was pulled through the wormhole once again, Geralt couldn't help but wonder about the man he had just fought alongside. Who was he? What had he done to deserve such a punishment?
Geralt may never know the answer to these questions, but one thing was for sure - the PUBG world was a harsh place, and it would take a strong will to survive within it. In a way, Geralt admired Helmet Guy's determination to face his punishment head-on, whatever it was the reason he felt he deserved such, even if it meant staying in that hellish world forever.
