My latest Nightmare Moon pic for this coming Halloween
Princess Luna has had many nightmares about becoming Nightmare Moon again, defeating Twilight and the Elements of Harmony. Their defeats have been many, one horrible fate after another.
This time, Nightmare Moon has done the unthinkable. Using an Age Spell, she turned them all into fillies, gobbled them up, absorbed them inside her body and imprisoned them in stars to decorate her mane.
There they will remain, trapped in dream worlds they can't escape and doomed to never know the dark and terrible fate of Equestria.
Fortunately for us, THIS never happened

Alternate Timeline:
Nightmare Moon, still stuck on the moon through the Banishment Spell is made aware of the Mane Six who would be able to use the Elements of Harmony to defeat her and seal her back into the Moon again. Tweaking her Nightmare Night Devouring Spell to keep the Fillies, Colts, and Foals that she swallows and absorbs as stars permanately, along with altering the memories of the ponies that knew about her victims to immediately forget their existence except for herself. Nightmare Moon prepares for a plan six years in the making.
Over the course of the six years, Nightmare Moon mqnifested herself on Equestria to swallow up and absorb six foals to turn them into stars while she waited out the last year of her imprisonment. However even though the process was quick and simple... waiting was never really easy. Swallowing six babies and sending them into dream stars all on their own had left them no longer needing to eat, sleep, or even age now that they had no bodies of their own, but they did cry out because they were alone and scared. Nightmare would at first relish in this since she knew that they were destined to keep her from going free, however, things for the alicorn began to change perspective shortly after as she went into the dream stars to try and calm the foals down.
The situation changed from her keeping the foals quiet, to interacting with them in mundane activities, to even playing with and having fun with them, imagining up new environments for them to play in that Luna once remembered before her banishment. As she tucked the babies back into their dream stars for "bedtime", Nightmare Moon felt some sort of satisfaction with her work. And it would be then that she realized was that Nightmare Moon wasn't treating the babies as prisoners exactly, she was now like their mother, which made Nightmare Moon begin to question herself over what she is doing, she can't spend her time feeling emotions other than hatred and jealousy at Celestia for hogging everything from her: all of the love and respect that she felt owed being the princess of the night, how lonely she had felt when she crossed over to become Nightmare Moon to make all of the other ponies take notice of her- and then she realized that this itself was a variant of the loneliness that she had now subjected onto 6 sweet little foals that she had taken away from their families for herself, but not only that, but the families weren't bad people anyways, they were actually very good ponies that treated one-another like... a family. It was only here did Nightmare Moon finally realize exactly what it was she had really wanted all this time: she just wanted somebody to love her for herself, and now she had six somebody's: six babies that she had found in Equestria that would become her greatest threats, no longer were they even that, now that she had seen them slowly "growing up" inside of her stars as they did things, made drawings, played with dolls, and created songs all about the black alicorn that they unanimously agreed must be their mommy.
Nightmare Moon, she now truly understood what she even was here, he wasn't some sort of unapproachable monster that had gobbled them up in the night, she was their mommy that loved and took care of everything as the Alicorn recreated the babies bodies having been absorbed for too long, she couldn't recreate them inside of her tummy, or have them pop out of her mane itself, she wanted this to be special as she sent their material to her womb to remake their bodies properly. Nightmare Moon even went out into the storage closet to pull out the nurseries that she had also stolen when she took and swallowed the babies so they would have someplace else to stay outside of her mane and in her arms where she wanted them to be. Giving birth to the Mane Six was a painful yet fulfilling process, one that Nightmare Moon was glad that she had taken part in now that she could actually hold the babies somewhere that wasn't even a dream. To feel their breathing, their touch, thejr hearts beating was a feeling that she had only experienced all by her lonesome self, now she had six others to experience it from. And this is now Nightmare Moon became Nightmare Mommy, taking care of her six fillies to raise them as they truly were her own, sometimes it would be physically, others it would be inside of dream stars after swallowing and reabsorbing them back into her tummy and mane, always keeping their bodies to be reformed whenever she wanted to touch them again. When the time came to return to Equestria, Nightmare Mommy was now a changed mare, not wanting to spend anymore time on the moon, yet also not wanting to leave her daughters all alone, she approached Celestia and profusely apologized for what had happened 1000 years ago and asking for forgiveness from the Sun Princess, who gladly accepted it and welcomed back her sister along with her six nieces Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight Sparkle.
Even though they are now forgiven and free, Luna still periodically shifts back into her Nightmare Mommy guise to swallow her babies to have them sleep and dream safely inside of her whenever she goes out on her job watching over the dreams of ponies.

Me: I'll say. Now then, the real reason for this is because when I look at it, this seems like a SUPERB suitable punishment for them. If you knew the actual truth behind it, they've actually have done a few incidents that were completely against the elements they're suppose to represent, want to find out what they are?Β

Me: Well it's best if I explain each individually, starting with the incident that involved "MYSTERIOUS MARE-DO WELL"
With Rainbow dash having a reputation of being Ponyville's hero, it was getting her quite a reputation than before. Whether it's between signing autograph's, having pictures taken, or even having a FAN-CLUB dedicated to her. Unfortunately, her so-called FRIENDS speculate this was getting to her head and it would result in her's or someone else's downfall. However instead of TALKING this issue out with her with conversation & compromise like their SUPPOSE to, they instead decided to fight FIRE WITH FIRE by becoming the disguise heroine MYSTERIOUS MARE-DO WELL with Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, & Fluttershy doing the hero work and Rarity designing the outfits. Once their deeds were documented in the paper, they went on BLABBERING about how much a REAL HERO M.M.D.W. is and this didn't sit well with Rainbow. When she tried to voice out her feelings and reasons about this, all they did to her was just plan LAUGH at her face. Later once she found out that HER OWN FRIENDS were behind all this, they explained to her that hero's don't BRAG despite the fact that THEY TO tend to BRAG about their accomplishments and talents, thus making them NO BETTER & JUST AS FOOLISH as the next pony. The end result of this was Rainbow's element lost it's color and turned gray rendering it useless.

I wonder if she plans to adopt them? A lonely Mare that spent 1000 years alone on the moon finding herself with six fillies in her permanent care. Anythings' possible if given enough time, what might be treated as defeating an enemy might later on awaken her deeply-buried maternal instincts with how much time is going to be spent with them for company.
