AW YEAH. Totally love this!! I don't care if she doesn't look completely accurate. 8'DSooo~ yeah, seems I can't really draw anime characters in character except for Izuru and Neliel. |D But nonetheless, I'm very pleased with how Soi Fon, the Captain of Squad 2, came out. Especially since I drew this very recklessly in a very short span of time!! Thanks to my bro who suggested I draw Soi Fon over Shuuhei Hisagi haha. XD
So she doesn't look completely like Soi Fon, but, eh, close enough, right? xD I thought it looked more Stealth Force-ish with her hair shading her eyes. Gosh her clothes were so fun to draw. I litterally had no idea what I was doing, I just grabbed my pencil and made it up as I went along.
"With Suzumebachi wielded? Sure."
"Big poofy sleeeves? OKAY~!"
"Windy windy windy...."
"Extremely balloon-ish Captain haori? No problem~!"
lol so you get the idea. I was kind of having a Why Not moment. xD Usually my Why Not moments don't turn out so well unless I'm painting. o:

Gotta say that I like Soi Fon though she falls behind to none other than Shihouin Yoruichi who claims the #1 spot in my favorite female Bleach characters.

If talking about Soi Fon, I believe she only talks quite much when she's around Yoruichi. Otherwise, she's probably silent like a wasp waiting to sting. *w*
If talking about Yoruichi, I'm kinda fine with her if she talks too much. After all, she has to mentor that Kurosaki Ichigo in many things. Her being a black cat represents herself having great freedom from her 2nd Division, Onmitsukidou and Kidou Corps duties made me liked her more as I too longed for such freedom. *w*

Ah, yes. That part also happened in the Manga. Ever noticed that in every Manga and Anime, the characters themselves have to explain things during certain situations? Such a way that the authors or animation company won't need to have a lot of questions whenever they go to Anime conventions or so.
Bleach example: Kuchiki Byakuya briefly explaining his Bankai which can serve as offensive and defensive. Briefly as he does not really talk much.
Naruto example: Tsunade explaining the way of the medical ninjas or rather, the rules.
One Piece example: Several pirates or those who eat the "Devil's Fruits" explaining their abilities.
Death Note example: The unseen "narrator" explaining the rules of the Death Note "on behalf" of the Shinigami and the King Shinigami for us to understand the way them notes work.
I could go on and on (like Soi Fon? Nooooooooo! ) but you get the point.

I think all they REEEALLY need to say (if Tite Kubo's explained their ability before, of course), would yeah, "Yeahhh it's awesome and it's gonna kill you!" I mean who would really expose their abilities to their opponent before the battle's over? xD "Here's my strategy so you can kill meeee~"

In reality, no one would but in such fictional worlds, it could not really helped or rather, quite a few are "who cares?" like me. That "biggest jerk" Aizen Sousuke too explains his Shikai's ability. Same goes to Tsukishima.
When it comes to video games, it is hard to say. The characters in Kingdom Hearts never really explain what they can do as they simply just fight. Same goes to Teen Titans and Spider-Man as well as X-Men and sime more others. Hm...
