Oh Christ I remember that episode. I don't know if you've watched the whole first season or not, but Morty's whole living deal is just depressing. Actually that entire family is just depressing and the show is so touching and tears at your emotions yet is somehow still hilarious it just, god it hurts me.

it's really one of my favourite shows for just that reason, though. it's so funny and silly but at the same time....
really, REALLY depressing. it's actually made me cry a little bit in the past, haha,,,haha,,,
it's also just so well-made; character development, writing, plot... it's all just so good.
