Description I wanted to do something beautiful and enchanting, but didn't find the right subject...until i ran into some photos with this beautiful musical instrument!

Oh, I meant the name, not the instrument. It's definitely a cello (and I have a cello sitting right next to me as I type this). The neck is too thin in comparison with the rest of the instrument for it to be a violin.

I thought you meant that the word for 'cello' in your language was 'violin,' and I was wondering if you maybe meant to say 'violincello.'

Sorry this is getting so complicated. It really is a lovely picture.

hey....i think you are right ....i took a look at the original photo....and i think is not a violin...i got confused at the first time...i thought it is a violin , this is the original picture... [link] For me it looks like a violin...
