I thought I could draw another high school style aa character and it was rlly fun to make the whole way thru.The title is a song but the drawing didn’t remind me of the song, just that I intensely listened to the song a lot this week and wanted to put a mark on this date. (Foster the people, coming of age)
I know I’m an intense aa fan but sometimes I get stressed if I’m too dedicated to aa, I’m worried that I will lose interest before it ends but I’m also worried that if I’m too dedicated that I will be a mess when aa finally ends. Basically every once a week on Saturday nights I like to play only one checkpoint of the game and wait another week to play the next and that’s why I’ve been such a long term fan. I’ve been doing this for 2 years now since the anime because every Saturday night a new episode would release and when it ended I decided to continue aa from trials and tribulations. I’m rlly happy to be a fan it’s just I hope I’m not in pain when it comes to that day I end aa. I used to come and go out of fandoms easily when I was more into anime but now I kind of stuck with one and no other.
Sorry for the rant, just a little bug that bothers me sometimes.

I remember being at your stage with AA... In the end... I'm in a ton of fandoms, but ace attorney is like, my default fandom. I'll come back to it all the time, it's like home!! You don't have to worry!

Hey hey! Don't be afraid to be inspired by other things, it'll really help you grow as an artist. Besides, if you get a load of inspiration from something else, you could channel that into some AA fanart and make something even more amazing that usual.

Yea, it might be a better idea to let myself explore more, as long as it doesn’t hurt me, I will be able to expand my media a little with the fandoms and aa too. I gotta stop being so afraid of change. Ty for the advice!

First off, really gorgeous this one! I think your Apollo paintings in general are my favourite of your works. So much attitude and lovely use of colour
Secondly, much respect for being able to pace yourself with how you're playing the game; one checkpoint per week or so sounds almost torturously slow! Then again I'm the 'finish-the-chocolate-bar-in-one go'-type of person so the word 'to savor' is not in my dictionary. As for the dillemma with your dedication, I can vouch for the 'AA is super easy to get back into' as a fandom other people have mentioned. Coming back to the series is like coming home, never stale, just comfortably familiar. Hope you manage to find an outlet that best suits you. Just that if something keeps you this motivated to keep on creating, I can hardly see it as a bad thing imo

And ty! I know it kind of sounds like a weird thing but it’s kind of fun to look forward to something every week, kind of a little neat routine I’ve grown used to. At this point I’m probably not going to lose interest yet but it’s just worrying me for some reason. I’m glad everyone is telling me that it’s easy to start up again though. cause if I leave something, I’m done with it for the rest of my life and it won’t be the same if I come back. And I get that feeling for fandoms a lot, honestly to sum it up it's like getting into relationships one after another ;w;
If you think you need a break, maybe find something new to play or watch to give you some momentum~

Ha I can see the resemblance, some other people tell me fandoms r like relationships. I was thinking I should take breaks every once and a while it might really ease my stress. Thank you for the advice though you were a really great help!!

i don't think there's anything wrong with losing interest or having (what feels like) too much of an interest in fandoms/series - it happens to everyone, some people drift back in and others move on.
i personally think it'll take years (perhaps even a decade?) until aa finally wraps up - no doubt, everyone would probably be a mess when it ends (although, if you're concerned about being a mess to the point of it disrupting your lifestyle, you can take a break if necessary. i doubt you'll reach that stage, however) - but i can also see the fandom still being alive and active for the years to come after. and though i don't relate, i'm sure you're not alone.
i'm not sure if that helped; just my two cents and a hunch. and tbh, i think there are more hardcore fans around in the fandom somewhere ;^^

There probably might be some other more intense fan out there but sometimes I just feel guilty that I’ve stuck with this one fandom for a long time (I’m not bothered that I’m in it I just question it a bit) and it would be nice if they did go another couple years before it ends, by that time all of us might be more prepared. I am a little concerned if it messes up my life style and I should consider a break +not thinking to hard on all of this. Also, I feel you. The only reason why I'm not worried about falling out of Ace Attorney though is because it's so easy to get back into. The games are so much fun to revisit and go through with friends (I've told everyone I know about these games.)

I guess we are all going down together when it ends though, I just hope it doesn’t end too soon. I know a lot of people are actually wanting it to end so I feel like the minority of the fandom.
