so...just a little background on kai.

he was ambushed in his own home and dragged out into the night by the engie who is actually after jay and devin too. yep kai hangs with those two.
any who, he had the shit beaten out of him (stabbed in the throat and got his eye slashed) then he was tied up, covered in gasoline, locked in a shed, and set on fire. and he was then left to die.
but his little sister followed when kai got kidnapped and got him out in the nick of time only she too got severely burned on her hands and arms as well. (when kai found out engie was coming, he told her to hide in the closet. she did but went after kai when he got taken.)
so the both of them have bandages on their arms to cover up the burn scars, which got really bad. you can see through kai's skin. you can see all the muscles and ligaments and tendons. kio isn't that bad at all but still pretty bad. they have no feeling in their hands. its completely numb.
kai also is blind now in that one eye and cannot speak.

the engie that did this, is the same one, like i said, that is after devin and jay:

engie really hates scouts. kai is that reason why. i'm still trying to figure out what happened.
