Description I thought that I haven't drawn my OC Himari in awhile, so I decided to draw her with my other OC, Momoka! I've never posted a drawing of Momoka on DA before, but I've only ever drawn her once (this is the second time.)
I don't have Photoshop anymore, but I found a free alternative called Gimp. That's what I used to color this picture. I'd like to use this drawing for the OC contest here: iduna-haya.deviantart.com/jour… So I hope I do well in it
If you don't remember Himari, she's from my Starred★Music story. Here's some more info on it: bdog375.deviantart.com/art/Him… and here: bdog375.deviantart.com/art/Sta…

I hope you all like my drawing!
Himari Onozuka & Momoka Saenoki belong to ME

I used this picture here as a reference: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/5…
I found it on Pinterest. I do not own it

I really like the exciting pose! It's really creative and the way you draw clothes is really realistic! I also like the clothes, especially the skirt of the blue haired one!~

Hi came from Project Comment  ^^

The anatomy of the characters seem to be good, the only thing that looks a little odd are the hands. I would suggest painting more shadows and nails, so it doesn't look as plain.
The colors aren't really in harmony, and that makes the whole piece look really all over the place. So many very saturated colors most of the time don't work very well together, and the rainbow's harsh edges make it look like a solid piece ( if that's intentional, sorry orz )
You could add more detail to everything, from the clothes to the faces. The lack of conspicuous shadows and highlights make the picture look really 2D, and maybe even rushed.
I would change the black outlines the color you filled them in with, or just not show them at all. I think they can flatten the image too, and darken the overall appearance of the piece.
I think the best way you can reach the full potential of the image, is by working on in for a longer time, and experimenting with shadows and highlights, even applying them to the clouds, so they don't look like simple patches of white.
Great job and have a good day ^^
