This card's name comes from ansuk, a parallel term to Imdukud , the deity that "Imduk the World Chalice Dragon's " name is a potential reference to.
As the shell of the Vredefort construct gives way to the flames overtaking it, the next piece of the perilous puzzle slides into place for the assembled Overworld heroes. Of course, the entire superstructure the Stryng Empire was built on was a lie for something more lethal stirring under its surface. Of course the missing Imduk and the Stryng nation's rise to power were too parallel to be coincidence. And of course, the demons of this world's past were rising to smother its present, as Imduk's dark side made manifest finally made its presence felt.
