I ,too, like this pencillers work, but don't think this is his strongest work. Some things that stand out that you should work on and consider while inking is that your outlining needes to be more consistent, and your rendering should blend into the blacks a little better. You should also consider your line weights a little more- every thing in the foreground, middleground, and the background have almost the same line weight. You should also work on how you render your hair- a difficult thing for most inkers to learn- i would recommend picking up Andrew Loomis' book, "FIGURE DRAWING FOR ALL IT'S WORTH". It is an excellent book for pencillers and inkers and has a great section on rendering hair in ink.
All that being said, on the plus side you seem to have pretty good control of your tools, and you were very faithful to the pencillers work. I especially like the way you handled Wonder Womans armor.
I guess what it comes down to is: do you want to be an inker or a tracer? An inker adds his/her own knowledge of drawing to enhance a pencillers work- a tracer only gives you back exactly what the penciller gave him. You seem to have the talent to be an inker, not a tracer, so take a few chances next time and don't be afraid to fix the things that you know you could make look better or more convincing- even if it's just background stuff. Keep on slinging the ink, I know you got better work in ya e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

I think Wonder Woman made a lot of those pieces to begin with. Thanks a lot.

There are artwork that looks Great only in pencils/ink sans color and 'Broken Trinity' Boldly epitomizes it perfectly, a very Powerful thought provoking piece, I definitely like the Awesome details in this chaotic aftermath scenery with a Triumphant Wonder Woman draping a beaten Superman across her shoulders like a grand-prize trophy with a fallen Batman at her feet. Nice touch on the subtle fusion of her iconic outfit with her 'DCnu' version carrying an unconscious Superman minus the unsightly collar he's sporting in the 'nu-verse' I'm definitely Fav-ing this. Props to BDStevens. Well Done!
