First time doing a comp here on DA. Followed the last colorist battle and thought it would be fun to give it a shot.Pretty happy with the face and hair. Decided to keep the frame from Dev's original inks. Hope you like. Wish me luck on my first comp.

Nice job. The specular highlights on the eyes and metalwork are really good, and the lens flare was a nice touch without going overboard. Also, I really like how you handled the gradation of the color holds in her hair. Plus, the background is a nice touch, breaking up the empty space without drawing the eye away from the subject.
There's only 2 things I might "adjust," and this is just my own personal preference. First, maybe think about adding some small, stronger highlights in here hair around the edges. I'm not sure it'll actually look good, given how light everything in the piece already is, but I think it's worth trying (unless you've already tried and decided they don't look good).
The other thing is the rope or whatever that she's holding is 'glowing' through the center portion, but the dangling ends are dark, and I'm not sure why. I'm not even sure why she has the rope anyway (if its a Power Girl thing, know that I'm not very familiar with her character). But I would consider maybe adding a feint glow on the dangling portions, if not over the whole piece then at least close to the top near her hands, and have it fade to nothing toward the ends.
Anyway, that's just me being nit-picky. It's still a really good job!

Glad you like the treatment. With such an open-ended piece like this, I think there's going to be a lot of variation in what different colorists are going to choose to do with the presentation. I don't usually go there with lens flares, but here the cliche seemed to work with everything else being so simple.
You're right, I might take another pass at the tether or lasso or whatever it is (I don't know my Power Girl too well.) I tried a it of specular/glowy stuff in the hair but it just ended up kind of distracting.
