you have to say it in Lego Batman's voiceAnyway, I love the Joxter I think he's such a riot, and I get sad thinking about how he'd probably be a kick ass dad but didn't really get the chance to be one. Especially since Snufkin gets so excited learning about him from Moominpappa too. We were robbed of chaotic park keeper hating father-son shenanigans, so I can only hope that Moominvalley has them interact at some point!

That is the question though... What did happen to Joxter? Why wasn't he in Snukin's life? Like did he die or...?

The Joxter is not dead, he just wasn't there to raise Snufkin because he simply didn't know that Snufkin existed. The Mymble either just didn't tell him or he left before she could, either way, Snufkin was not raised by either of his parents.
It's sad because he would have likely been a pretty good father too, since he dealt with the rest of the Mymble's children for a while as a sort of step father. Also because at one point Snufkin asks Moominpappa if the Joxter liked the Mymble more than him, but Moominpappa tells him that he thinks that the Joxter would have loved Snufkin more if only he had known about him.
The two do meet at the end of Moominpappa's Memoirs for the first time and they hug, but in general the Joxter doesn't have a lot of canon content because he only appears in one book. I'm looking forward to possibly seeing more of him in Moominvalley for this reason!

That would be the first time Joxter and Snufkin would interact with eachother in any of the animated series. That's so cool! Though why wasn't Mymble able to raise Snufkin? Did she just lose track of him cause she has so many kids? I did hear he was left in a basket.

(Sorry for a bit of a late reply!) We don't know how exactly Snufkin was lost, we don't get a solid explanation of it so Snufkin's early life is a mystery. It's very loosely explained and leaves a lot of room for fan interpretation, but it should be noted that Snufkin was separated from Mymble early enough on that he didn't even realize he had a mother until Moominpappa told him he had one.
