One of my favourite shotsI took this ages ago, remember in one of my older plant shots I deticated it to the flower that is now gone?
well this is the flower.
it took me many tries and finally I tried a old method (copy layer -> overlay -> copy layer -> change opacity and fill)
this is one of my most prized shots and I hope you like it..
too bad the flower is gone now

This is a really impactful shot. The focus is spot on, the colours look real, and the shot remains interesting to the eye. The flower is beautifully crisp, and it really gives the impression of a well done macro. Colour is spot on, and composition looks good too. It's very hard for me to criticise this piece in any way. It's even cut away from the black background beautifully.
Really well done with this shot - it is one of your most prized shots for good reason.

Very pretty.
There are thousands of flower shots out there; but this is one of the better ones. 
The focus and depth of field are perfect, and I like the black space on the left-hand-side - it adds something to the picture.
It looks sort of gloomy, but really beautiful nevertheless.
It is a shame the flower's gone.

I couldnt decide if I wanted to bring out the shadows more or to give the petals a really light white look
the shadows personally suite it more
