Anyway here is something new for you and it comes with a bit of a story of mine.

A figure in a dark hooded cloak sneaked carefully through the forest.
"We are almost there, we are safe now", she wispered to the grey tabby cat that followed her and repeated to herself: "We are safe now..."
Two days ago she left the village she used to call her home.
A boy, whose mother she had helped with a high fever, had warned her. He had overheard how some strangers talked to the mayor.
Noone besides the loyal servants of the church was allowed to heal the sick. Everyone else who pretended to have the ability to heal was a liar or, even worse, in league with the devil. A witch.
Rumors about a healer woman had reached the monastry and monks came to investigate the matter.
Everyone knew what happened to those who were declared a witch and so Alruna had to flee and seek shelter in the solitude of the forest.
For sure all those stories about witches were fairytales to scare and controll the people.
She only knew the herbs she had to use to help the people. Knowledge she had learned at an early age from her mother. Just like her mother and her grandmother and every woman in her anchestry before.
But the superstitious villagers fell easily for
that kind of thing and knowledgeable woman were thought to be dangerous.
Alruna was heading towards a little wooden house in the forest. Her mother had shown her this place a couple of years before her death. And in this case the people's superstition was her advantage. They considered the forest to be cursed. Noone would look for her here.
