That topic is a complicated one since it involves souls contracts, foetal integration mechanics, health conditions, karmic consequences and.. personal connexion to God-Source free from manipulative rules.

Well, according to the Bible, the baby will be stuck in Limbo since it hasn’t yet been baptised.

Which version? There is over a dozen different mainstream versions, and several dozen more that aren't as mainstream.

Actually limbo doesn't appear in the bible. That was made up by the Catholic Church.

Well, the jews believed in a place called Sheol, or the Land of the Dead, where all souls go to rest after death.

Also, baptism has a confusing history. It doesn't really come up in the Old Testament, yet I'm pretty sure we have historical records of it being an Egyptian religious ceremony at one point. The more you know.

I don't personally believe her choice to get pregnant just for an abortion is the wisest but it's her body. I do find the story interesting, and the picture does cover the story's given summary well. the woman her self looks blissful as if the idea of her "holy" abortion has given her some sort of spiritual peace as she gives one last look at the outside. She not frightened by her choice in fact she seems to be strengthened by it. It is a very beautiful emotional piece of art.

This concept is absolutely terrifying.
Religion in general is pretty terrifying- people basing their moral conscience on consensual mass delusion rather than empathy- it's no wonder humans can't stop blowing each other up.

If a woman gets pregnant by accident, I understand that abortion can be the best way out, for both the mother and the child. But intentionally getting pregnant to make an abortion? That is a weird and unhealthy reason to get pregnant in my opinion.

This artwork fails on ethical and moral grounds. It makes no logical sense, and the artist may be morally culpable for encouraging a disgusting act.
First, morality isn't decided by individuals. Even if they think what they are doing is right, if it is evil, THEN IT IS WRONG. The argument that this atrocity is doing good lacks any ethical grounding.
Second, no one can decide wither or not a person can go to haven. Even murdering people to get people in Haven that is evil, as it risks the soul of the person who commits the crime. This is playing God, which is blasphemy.
Third, The ends do not justify the means, and the means here are so disgusting, that the people involved will lose thir souls because of it.
The artist his right that this image provkes a reaction, but of total disgust at how anyone could make such a stupid, intellectually and morally corrupt dipiction.

i dont really care much about what you feel on this subject but. . .calling the artist stupid and claiming that they'll lose their souls or whatever. . .isnt that a little too much? besides, calling this wrong is your own individual decision of morality theres not much difference between what youre doing and what theyre doing. . .

putting aside the whole abortion situation, I really like this piece of how through her white shirt you can actually see her stomach and in the background the man and women's expressions, since not a lot of people put real emotions into their background people. Her hand on the door looks really realistic by the way :3 I could have mistaken it as a photo from the thumbnail if I didn't already know that most of your art looks real.

I like the contrast between her and the two people sitting in the clinic. They don't appear to be taking the matter as lightly as she is, and the lighting and body language appears to convey this.

Very beautiful image. Personally, I am an abortionist neutralist. I predominantly support pro-life since I see the developing children sheltered within the confines of the womb as significant biotic organisms who should be protected by humans in the external world and by law. However, if the circumstances revolving around the pregnancy doesn't allow for an abortion to be justifiable (such as rape at a young age or incestuous rape and so-on and so-fourth), than the choice to abort the child becomes excusable in my eyes.
In this case, I see it as making a pro-abortion statement. Though she believes she is doing this for the benefit of the children, the reality is, she is still taking life, though she believes that the children will be offered a better life in the realm of the afterlife, she is still responsible for them "transitioning, into that world. Thus, being responsible for the loss of the children in this world because of the choice to abort them. She takes their life to "give" them a better in. It is still murder, even if to her it is a means to an end.

The thing is however, art can be political and political art sends out a message through a simple medium, which means it reaches a larger population of people since art surrounds us. When art becomes political, the door for discussing politics is opened.

Actually, I can say it is.
The lighting is spectacular, I love the enthusiastic expression on her face, the mood is very light in this illustration although the topic itself is very heavy. She seems very self-righteous and the image is filled with positive energy, though I disagree with what she is doing.
The message is one thing, the image itself is another.

Very interesting concept for a book; it shows someone with incredible twisted logic and how they believe what they're doing is "holy" when so many people today see abortion as the opposite. Very creative indeed; you captured her excitement so well.

Personally I think you took a big risk by showing the woman with a smile on her face as she casually strides into the clinic. That's sending a rather powerful message in and of itself which I am not entirely sure if that's what you intended. From my experiences people don't treat this sort of choice so lightly, which makes this piece seem to have a very strong opinionated viewpoint which many people might find offensive.
That being said, it's still a very well rendered piece and I like it a lot. So seldom do we see controversial pictures like this which actually make you have to stop and think for a minute while viewing it. More often than not controversial pieces try to hit you over the head with shocking imagery expressing a viewpoint, and it's nice to see a more subtle method employed here.

If you read her description, you would see that it is exactly the message she is trying to send. The character she is portraying is one who feels righteous in what she is doing.

I understand that, and I applaud her strength is portraying such a message. My only concern is that people on the pro-life side might take STRONG offense to this, as it strengthens an "image" they have of women casually and happily striding into an abortion clinics, as if they were just going to the grocery store, to get rid of unwanted pregnancies.
I just don't think I, as an artist, would've been able to take such a strong side to the argument and I hate to see people get flamed or hated on for their artistic choices. That was all I was trying to convey in my comment.

This is a truly beautiful picture! I refuse to share my beliefs on the subject of it, and I will instead focus mainly on the artwork itself. I love it. It's so gorgeous. The lighting, the sun glinting off the door, the background and everything, it's just all so beautiful. You have such a wonderful skill.
