As said above, a great origami Maybe you can use that to differentiate your photo from typical macro flower shots - make the "paper" aspects of the creation more obvious. Try making the white areas at the creases and corners stand out more, or something else to make the texture of the paper stand out more...

I only took the picture. My sister made the rose, I'll have her make a couple more for this shot I want to do.

When I first saw the thumbnail for this pic, I couldn't help but full-view this!

The bright red color drew me to this pic and how wonderfully crafted this origami-like paper rose your sis did

i dont want to know how she did it, all i know is that it is a great photograph of a very nice subject.

try to add a little bit more detail on the shadows (extra light perhaps), and shoot in a landscape

That's the beauty of digital photography... haha.. trial and error, unlike film... heheh... a bit expensive on my part... LOLz!!!
