This must have taken a lot of time to gather of all those candles, light em, take a few shots, and blow them out again. Hahaha! Anyway, it was worth it. One thing though, be careful of grain.

Hehe indeed it did. I was thinking of doing a full table piece (200 candles), but I decided not too as the first one would have probably went out by the time I lit the last one...
And yeah, I noticed how grainy the picture was, I don't think I can overcome that though, I am taking pictures from a cell phone after all... Do you know how it's possible to overcome that?

Well, if it's from a cellphone camera, then I must say... I'm f***ing impressed. Seriously.
The grain's not that bad, actually. It's actually minimal. Dealing with lights like this, grain is pretty likely to happen if you don't set the camera right. But since you're using a phone, then I just have 3 suggestions for you as one learning photographer to another:
1.) Get a camera. A simple point-and-click will serve for you well for a starter. But if you can, jump right ahead to the bigger guns, if you know what I mean. When you get to semi-professional or professional class cameras you can actually set the camera so it won't pick up grain. Grain is caused when the ISO is too high. So, unless you can preset the ISO on you CP camera, then I suggest you go get something else.
No offense though, man. When it comes to photography, the Indian's skill more important than the bow's effectiveness. And I can see that you're one hell of an Indian. But no matter how skilled you are, as long as you're stuck with a bad bow... you're never gonna hit bull's eye.
Balance out your skill with your equipment. Your too good of a photographer to be stuck with a CP camera.
2.) Once you get a camera, learn to set it according to the situation. You could also use AUTO feature, but I like tinkering around with the settings cause it has different products.
3.) But if you really can't get a camera, then use a cheat, Photoshop. It's not as hard as some may think. Photoshop has this feature called "Surface Blur", which I apply to some of my grainy works to smooth it out. Just don't over use it.
(BTW, if any other photographers out there disagree with my suggestions, feel free to let your opinions out too. I'm open minded, and even I'm still learning. )

Lmao thank you. :3 That's awesome to hear!
Yeah, I usually get that when taking dark photo's, but hopefully, if I get a better camera, it should change for the better. :3
Okay, so to answer your suggestions..
1) I am looking to get an Olympus E-420 DSLR, so hopefully that will let me advance onto more professional photography. I can't wait to play around with that to be honest.
I absolutely love your comparison between photography and an Indian. :d I can see where you're coming from though, and yeah I understand completely. Hehe thank you for saying I'm a good photographer, but apparently I still have a lot to learn with the different compositions and what not! XD
2) Yeah, I've started using manual features on my phone, but that's only recently. I have been using the AUTO feature a lot.. and yeah, I like tinkering around with the settings also.
3) I got photoshop, and I did one or two different edits, I shall upload them on Monday. I would really like to know what you think about them, I will also upload the originals so you can see a comparison of them. ^^
Indeed!
Thanks so much for all the feedback you've given me!

Haha aww that's awesome, I have a bunch of wax left from the candles I burnt,I might melt them down and make them into a love-heart or another type of mold... I would need to make the mold myself though. :3

Ooh I see. I guess I could see what I can do with the wax... maybe melt it and make a collage of it. :3

Hmm, I might check out Amazon or something actually... how DO they do the wax drips? Or does it occur naturally as they're burnt?
