Here are some custom eyes I’ve been working on.I love the fake eyes inset into Monster High dolls, so all if not most of my customs will probably have them.
(Especially since my 100 pack just came in)
These are a bit bigger than the ones I’ll actually be using for the others, but they were my tester pair, and look nice with the rabbit head. ♥
The first two (flash on and off) are made with a base layer of holographic film, then a layer of Angelina Film in ‘Mint Sparkle’ is over that. Lastly the lens was put back on top. (I still need to clear up the lens, since it’s hazy now)
These don’t have pupils yet, by the way. XD
The third picture is of some dark iridescent jewels in place of the lenses. Looks pretty cute, and they come in literally every color, and even rainbow like this with different base tints.
(opaque and transparent colors as well)
The last photo is of the eyes I ordered online. They are 8x11mm, and seem better for Monster High dolls then the ones I’ve shown above. I’ll show you later what those look like in the head.
I’ll be making a tutorial soon, for how to go about this process~
My Rabbit head is modeling them for now. (still need to thin down the eye wall :[ )

I've thought about it~
I want to make some fancy resin eyechips for Blythe and Pullips. I could buy the bigger MM eyes, that are spheres with stems, and customize them.
Just have to see if anyone would want to buy them. ♥

I love the custom eyes! I have been dying to try adding some eyes to a monster high doll but was never sure on eye size and now i know

I've heard that 8-12mm works, but it just depends on how big you want the iris.
These are 8x11mm, but I'm not certain of the exact iris size. I'll measure them this weekend as I work more.

I will have to bite the bullet and just try some eyes in a doll. I have bjd's so i have eyes about that are spare so i could give it a go at least.
I do love how different the dolls face is with eye holes and eyes in place! Like a hole new type of doll!

You can get different looks by changing the eye shape as well.

For those wondering where I got my eyes, I had purchased them on ETSY from this seller: WholesaleCorner
However, they took a month to get here (USA, coming from Israel)
Also, it seems her shop is down right now. :<

I know the brand ‘Tallina’s’ makes eyes like these, but they are more expensive.
If anyone finds another supplier for these, please let me know! I only ordered 50 pairs. :/
I’ve seen people find these at Hobby Lobby or Michaels, but I’ve never seen them personally.

Hahah the eyes in the bottom photo (bag o' eyes) took 4 weeks to arrive from Israel.
The iris of those is slightly smaller, and more realistic looking than the ones I put colors in.
I think the ones in the head are 12 mm, and the ones in the bag are 10mm.
(still need to formally measure)
The jewels DO look great! I want to try others as well. ♥
