Description
Roll over the read-space to start/restart it.I figured I could risk showing off an animated poem that no one had really read before anyways.
This way, if it's shit, I can just never associate with this poem ever again rather than attempt to defend a half-baked reinterpretation of my own stuff.

Im 2 to lazy to read all the long comments so if someone mentioned this already than ignore me, or if you find me to be stupid and my opinion irrelevant. Maybe you could have BRAIN kind of scattered around like it'd been blown out.

That HAS been suggested (and not just here in the comments - there're also a few real world humans I talk to, sometimes). I understand why it keeps getting suggested, and this is why I keep shooting it down (welcome to my brain for a few seconds): This piece, and the cliffmansea one, were meant to be like scenes or little movie clips or images conveyed in writing in as few words as possible. So the ORIGINAL intent was that they were to look just as if I had a text box in front of me and were typing as normal. "cliffmansea" grew further away from this initial concept with repetition, and "gunheadbrains" got animated - REALLY, this poem isn't supposed to be animated (just -> "gunheadbrains" <- that's a poem), this is just an animated version. So scattering the "brains", while visually it might make more sense, would, in my opinion, undermine the little bit of literary merit it managed to achieve.
Does that make sense? I've been told a ZILLION things on this piece, and I haven't taken a single one into consideration, lol. Makes you wonder who the hell I'm trying to appeal to, if I'm the only one who likes it, huh? lol

The goal isn't to meticulously document all of the nouns or items present in the scene, but to convey a single scene or action as simply and in as few words as possible (thus reducing them to nouns, using placement to convey motion [except that this comment is on the animated version, but whatevs]). Also: I spent all morning watching people get shot. I never once saw the bullet that did it. I DID, however, see the gun, the dead person, and their entrails ;D

Expect an updated version at sometime in the future that may help clarify it. I think making "gun" act more like a GUN is probably the key here. I made it like that originally, but then I changed it - and I shouldn't have, lol

My view involved a sort of situation. The gun reaches the head, and there's a moment or two of fear and hesitation, depending on what you feel maybe pleading or bargaining- then bang. Seeing the gun approach, then the building tension... waiting... waiting... till the next word appears, till the next image appears in your mind. But that's just me

this'd also work if 'brains' was above 'head', then when gun approached, connected, 'brains' sank below.
I think you could do more with this...connect brains and head somehow to show how it's usually over-thinking...or wrong-thinking, or circular thinking that causes the gun to the head in the first place. As it stands, it's clever...but. Well. See, this is what happens when you're REALLY REALLY good -- people expect more from you. I kind of expected more.

Also: I DID have a more intricate-looking animation of "gun" approaching "head" - it looked more like a gun was being lifted and placed against someone's head, and the word "gun" even looked nicely like a "gun" with the "g" coming down as the trigger.
Why didn't I keep this? It was too over the top, and I felt like it strayed away from the simple typographical elements that made the poem move by itself, just as plain text.

Actually, my only thought was that if a bullet connected with someone's head, it wouldn't take that long for the brains to appear.
