Hehehe iv worked on thsi one a good long time before australia day ^^ took me about a week to finalise the linework and a good 6hrs to colour it. This picture represents all i feel about my home land and its wild untamed beauty.
It is of my wereself (tryed a different style) with my emu feather hairtie, reaching out to the kookaburra, perhaps in hope it will land on my outstretched arm. I could have possibly embellished the landscape further but its simplicity suits the land type and look of the picture.
It scanned rather darkly im afraid, the colours are much lighter yet richer in real life.
I am however sick today and not able to cellebrate as boistoriously or with others as i had arranged and was intending but oh well.

Let us aussies all sing the Australian anthem and be proud this day ^_^.
