Story behind picture:

I wanted to spend more time with each of the Glens; I felt the cubs in particular had missed me in my absence. I decided to dress in Sunni's clothes as youngsters always enjoying dressing up Sunni became so excited at seeing her 'older-sister' wearing an outfit the same as hers.

I took her high into the trees so that we could sit and talk, surrounded by the beautiful display of changing colours. As we sat there admiring all the different shapes a leaf fell straight onto Sunni's shoulder.
Sunni picked it up and looked at me, she became rather excited by a thought she just had; 'Yaelin?' Yes I answered.
'Why do leaves change colour' as she said this she moved closer and pulled at my arm ( a habit small children have when they want something)
'Surely Zummi has explained to you about Autumn?! I said smiling sweetly at her, I had a feeling I knew what she was thinking.
'Yes he has, but you know...Zummi makes everything so dull, so well will you explain to me Yaelin?
'Sure, This may take some time though'

(Based loosely on Josie's fic 'The Real Yaelin'

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JOSIE!!!!!!!

This is the picture I used the photograph 'changing colours' for! Josie requested this picture as one of her birthday gifts Unfortunately I miss-calculated how long this would take and so she will not be getting this till next week So I am uploading here so at least Josie can see it is done

Yaelin Josie's OC is wearing a matching outfit to Sunni this is an idea Josie has done in her gallery so I really wanted to do a picture also

This is on A2 paper and really mixed media! I started in inks, but ended up using watercolours. The top part of the picture has acrylics as well, then some parts are outlined in ball point pen (Which amazingly made the picture look so much better! I thought you know that it look better without black outlines)
