I drew this sketch a few weeks ago, and last night, I had the random urge to paint. There are a few things I would like to do over, like possibly masking the figure so I could paint continuous gradation of the sky more fluidly, but for what it is (done in a cafe in about a half hour) I can't complain.Related content

I think that the sky looks good without being more gradient. It's a bold/angry picture so the sky is fitting.

I love the proportions of the beast... the colors, and especially the smoke. There's something that is just so daunting about this. What scares me the most is that it has no eyes.
