I've read enough stuff within the game itself that i am pretty sure that they have genders in the more humanistic term. Then again, Florans are as different as flowers.
Who knows how many variants of them are out there.

Actually according to the Official description they are "Unisex". Β I'm sure some lean toward the feminine or masculine depending.

Well, in the worst case unisex means only one gender. So i would say the standard Floran is majorly female in organic sctructures.
After all, the kids need to come from somewhere, and a seed in the ground is silly considering the massive and constant supply of minerals food water warmth and whatsnot that's needed to develop a intelligent being with a brain.
So an uterus it at least one of the necessarities.
But i might be nitpicking here and overdoing my thinking.
On the other hand its entertaining to do so.

Yes, but anatomically spoken there's not enough space for both gender organs 'down there' at least in an human style.
I'd assume uterus and co as female part and the abillity to pollinate as a male part.
Would explain all those buttrubbing jokes going at the Forum.
After all you'd neet to get close enough to get that working.

Indeed. Β This has been . . . an interesting discussion, hahaha.
Though the reanimating scene suggests they come from seedlings, so I dunno.

Aye but by the very nature of plants flowering bodies have both male and female parts. Β In fact due to the fact that many Florans have large flowers may be indicative of . . . er . . . it being that time.
