My first year being bitten! Shay looks pretty cute as a little batty-watty. I even went as far as to make a bat-ified cutie mark.

Bat pony bites are infections, and will instantly turn a regular equine into a bat pony once they are bitten. In order to turn others however, you must post a picture of a "batified" version of your character, along with the list of ponies they've infected. The idea is to end up with as many bat ponies as possible!

There is also a cash prize for this year's bat tag if you are interested:

Earlier this morning, I was discussing Bat Tag with a friend and brainstorming ways to encourage participation. They were kind enough to offer a $50 donation as a prize for the best bat, chosen by my watchers!
Judging will take place on November 1st, so there’s still plenty of time to start working on those fantastic bats! No clue what Bat Tag is? Read all about it here:

Rules:

Please copy and paste these rules into the description of your drawing, so others know how the game works.
Your pony MUST be bitten by a bat in order to turn others, meaning that someone has to tag one of your characters before you're able to participate.
Your pony can "bite" as many others as they'd like, but please don't overdo it!
You MUST post a picture of your batified pony before you're able to tag anyone else.
Your tagged character can "bite" both your own and others' ponies. Just remember to mention the username of the owner if you're going to tag someone else's pony!
OC's that are already bat ponies are not affected.
Please be sure to specify which user(s) and character(s) you tag when posting your Bat Tag art! This is imperative to the game! (Example: beashay 's Holly Glamourosa)
If you are tagged, you are not required to play! This is only for fun, please don't feel pressured into participating.
