Title: Phillip Jack Brooks as "C.M. Punk"If you keep up with wrestling then you know who this man is. He become the WWE Champion on his final night under contract with WWE. A true revolutionary for wrestlers. I have always been a fan of Phillip's sense his early career in Ring of Honor. He is not only one of the top athletes in wrestling but stands for a real-life following called straight edge. Punk performs the straight edge symbol of crossing his arms in an X formation while having the letter X written on the back of his hands, usually drawn on his wrist tape.
The drawing it self was an experiment for me. I worked with different blending styles. Very happy with how his face and head came out. The photograph does not do it justice. Not as happy with the body. Feels less true and more of a flat drawing. The tape rapped around his hands turned out very nice with lines emulating where he placed each band of tap. Love to know what yawl think!!
