"Can you do the cancan?"mmmbaby, what is wrong with me. I even included the leg hair wtf lisa.
Basically, while neglecting my homework yesterday I had this urge to draw France. Actually I've had the urge to draw france for a long time now, but I SUCK at him. I'm surprised at this coming out decently.
So I drew France dancing the cancan.
Much Edith Piaf was listened to while doing this. Her voice is magical.
I made his dress using the french flag colors. HIM, ENGLAND AND AMERICA COULD SOOO MATCH huurrrr
sketched, inked, colored in Paint Tool SAI
took about three hours or so

I just love this, even with the chest, arm, and leg hair, Francis is just irresistable. I love his... goatee? Mini-beard? Stubble? He's still masculine in a dress. I love him. :3

you know I'm not entirely sure what france has on his chin. Some places it's a thin beard, some places it's stubble, sometimes goatee and I've even seen it clean shaven.
I usually just go with a thing scruffy beard xD

I think it's wonderful. I love the pose and all the small details like the adjustment piece in the strap on the leggings. I especially love this technique you are using, making the backgrounds appear out of focus. Genius.

But, it's so common for can-can dancers to wear bright colors! Francis is just playing the part and making sure a specific country can see him from a not-too-distant distance. Oui-oui!
His face! It is so pretty and gentle, and then I look down and see chest hair and even leg hair through the leotards.
The background looks so flipping sweet, too. And, France, I know you're just showing off, but your audience is behind you.
