The Fae entity, known as the Luminspetal, is a powerful member of the Gentry that took inspiration from a creature not from human mythology, but from the nearly forgotten mythology of the Zephyrquills. Long ago, as the Zephyrquills evolved sapience, they told tales of the first islands of the Aerithian Sky Archipelagos that began to form and drift among the heavens, a phenomenon unique to their homeworld of Aerithos. In the rich tapestry of lost Zephyrquills mythology, it was once believed that an entity, known as the Luminspetal, was the creative force that created the Aerithian Sky Archipelagos.

According to the few legends of the Zephyquills that remain, the Luminspetal was the first-born daughter of the Whispering Skies. Luminspetal was described as a celestial flower growing from a ruby-red crystal, serving as a mystical core from which the entity's form blossoms with petals that gently undulate like delicate silken wings. Each petal was said to be a translucent canvas of iridescent hues, reflecting and refracting light in a kaleidoscope of colors.
