Description
So I decided to do a sprite edit of Dark Cacao going berserk—because I like the hc.

(spoilers for 14-30)

Basically in my hc, Pomegranate’s spell didn’t damage the soul jam, but it did change the way it resonates with him. So whenever Dark Cacao experiences strong negative emotions like rage, upset or stress, his soul jam perceives that emotion as a threat and boom- berserk.

In my opinion, the transformation always starts from the right hand, because that is where he channels his soul jam’s energy the most. It starts off as a numb prickling pain, before it turns into a searing agonising pain as his hand contorts into a dark, ghostly claw- and then it spreads. It always goes

Hand —-> Arm —-> Crown float and hair goes wispy and smoke-like ——> Left Hand ——> Left Arm ——> Face ——> Body —— > Legs and arms dissapear

He’s tried to get the best medics to cure this- Even Pure Vanilla Cookie, but nothing works. Only light magic and a touch of wisteria can help repress it. (Dont ask why wisteria, I like demon slayer.)
