I love water color art-works but I don't have a gift to made something in this hard tehnique. I admire Your work - You control Your hand complitely.
And this idea... Oh, we have so many small things that are hold back us, there are small but when we try to free oneself we may do pain onself. And these small things can hold on us by all life.

Thanks cholinka. Well, what I licke most about watercolor is that you don't have to control all. It's a strange technique. You can let the water flows and, in some way it looks that the painting appears by itself. I'm going to do more watercolors. Too much pencil lately. Hug

You must be very interesting person. Most of people do like control everything, well maybe becouse so little people may use watercolor.
I love Your watercolors but I hope that You don't stop used pencils.
Thank You for Your reply. Most of popular dA artists don't reply on comments. I appreciate it.

beautiful work. i love watercolour too, but i'm out of paper, and i'm far too lazy to go get some more. i want to water colour now, even more! lovely colours, like this style a lot. its hard to put down your brush without tweaking your work till it looks (in your perception) perfect. i often spoil my work because of this :/ but this is great. well done! XD

Well, I love watercolour because it's like if it paints itself. I mean, the paint can run more or less freely and it does things that you don't expect. And yes. It's hard to find the point when you must stop. Thanks Yugan.

This has a great feeling to it *nods* The way her hair is stuck to the wall is a very unique way of showing that you are 'trapped'. The emotion is amazing, the express fab. Beautiful watercolor skills! <3

yeah with watercolour you can get that nice genuine spur of the moment artistic momentum going. I love the way you've handled the colours in your flesh tones. beautiful.

That's wonderful! I love how the watercolor looks, I can never achieve a good looking person with watercolors. Do you have any tips or secrets? I'd love to hear some!

I think I have no secrets about this. I just know what any book about watercolor says. The only advice I can give is not to try control the result too much. Accidental effects are pretty.

Thx a lot - I read about that technique a while ago but I haven't used it for highlighting yet. It looks awesome here tho - I'll definetly try it out next time I've got my watercolours out.

I think it has great control. I get bleeds a lot, so I'm always trying new paper. Settled on Bristol Board. How big did you work in for this one? That maybe my other problem working small.

BeatrizMartinVidal In reply to FWACATA [2004-08-29 05:07:01 +0000 UTC]
Thanks Juan. It's not very big. A3 format. The paper is Basik. I try to keep some control but not so much as when I work with pencil. I'm never quite sure what will be the final work when I work with watercolor. I love that.
